Allison Schuster – a graduating high school senior from Hinsdale Central High School

Allison has been accepted to study at Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, MI and plans on studying English with a tentative minor in journalism. Allison showcased her commitment to excellence during high school, serving as student council senator and president of Christian Club and for an anti-bullying club named Breaking down the Walls. During her last two years at Hinsdale Central, Allison also wrote for her town magazine, The Daisy Field Life.

When she wasn’t busy studying, Allison was a member of the JV tennis team and sang in her school’s variety show. She was also heavily involved with her church youth group and volunteered with PADS and the Hansen Center.

This summer, Allison will be working as a nanny and at Whole Foods Market. She will continue her passion for writing in hopes of being published in a magazine. Before heading off to college, Allison is looking forward to playing lots of tennis and spending time with her friends and family. She hopes that in college she will be able to confirm her passion and grow socially, spiritually and academically.

As a well-rounded individual with so much to look forward to, Allison gives much credit to her dad, who she notes is “the strongest influence in my life.” The Pointe Pest Control family would like to congratulate Allison for all her accomplishments and are looking forward to what she has in store next! Congrats Allison!

Her love for animals, science and law (specifically animal rights), is what prompted her to choose her field of study in college. Before heading off to Illinois State, she will be a nanny for a local family. This intelligent young woman has shown the character and excellence that the Pointe Pest Scholarship represents. Pointe is honored to assist Charline in her college pursuits and wishes her the best of luck!

Jordan Greenwalt – a graduating senior from Wayne City High School

When he is not busy being an all-star student athlete, Jordan works on the farm, enjoys four-wheel riding and fishing. Before heading off to Indiana, he plans to work for Skillet Fork Farms as a farm-hand. When he is off at college, Jordan will only be an hour away from home which was one of the reasons he chose to attend University of Southern Indiana.

We at Pointe Pest Control congratulate Jordan on his accomplishments thus far. We know his drive for excellence will serve him well moving forward. Good luck, Jordan!

Thomas Calderaro – a graduating senior from Lockport Township High School in Lockport, IL

Thomas will be attending the University of Kentucky in the Fall. His passion for helping others and a deep interest in science, has led him to pursue a major in Neuroscience with a minor in Biomedical Engineering, while studying on a pre-med track to eventually become a pediatrician.

He was also heavily involved in enriching the lives of special education children through Best Buddies, Special Olympics and the American Youth Soccer Organization.
